- You would have to burn 3,500 calories to lose one pound!!! Get moving!!
- Sweat is not an indicator of fat burn....it is a temperature gauge-be sure to dress appropriately for your workout.Get that heart rate up to burn calories !!!
- Weight training doesn't make you bulky....the fat covering the toned or ripped muscles underneath make you look bulky!! Clean up your diet and burn off the fat!! Women cannot get a bodybuilder figure by simply lifting weights....to get that mass it requires HEAVY lifting and in most cases steroids etc.
- It is a myth that if you workout you can eat whatever you want.....you pretty much cancel out your workouts by eating junk
- Talking about getting fit and eating healthier does not get results!!You have to put in the hard work and eat a clean diet!!
- Hydrate,Hydrate,Hydrate....if your thirsty....you are on your way to being dehydrated.Drink a minimum of 8-8oz glasses per day!!
- Proper breathing and form are essential!!! Injuries can happen and endurance can fail so be sure to execute effectively!!
- You're not a dog so don't "treat" yourself!! Rewards (shoes,new workout clothes) should come with accomplishments and meeting goals....give yourself a cheat meal once a week and if you MUST have a sugary naughty snack...have one!! Just be aware of its label and your portion size. You don't have to eat like a rabbit to get to your goals!
